We understand how frustrating it can be when something goes wrong at an ATM especially since it involves your money. The good news is that ATM errors are very rare (they’re accurate more than 99% of the time), but we’re here to help when issues do happen.
If you notice a difference in the amount from an ATM withdrawal or deposit, please reach out to the financial institution that issued your card and file a dispute or claim. Most concerns are resolved within about 10 business days, though in some cases it can take up to 45 business days. By law, all financial institutions follow U.S. Federal Regulation E when handling these situations.
